Frankenstein - Book Design/Binding

I recreated the classic novel Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. The Novel was completely reworked and redesigned. The book was printed, and hand bound by myself. All text was set in Bodoni and Eccentric. The paper is French Kraft Tone.

The Cover of the book was carefully crafted – I wanted to use it to imitate the description of the monster’s skin as I reads in the book. The cover was sewn up to emit a more authentic take and physicality.
